We are a small team of traders and engineers. We are building TradeSim with focus and care, and we are earning trust one release at a time.
TradeSim started the way many serious trading journeys start. With curiosity, a notebook, and the uncomfortable feeling that most tools are built for speed, not for understanding. We wanted a workspace that helps you slow down in the right places.
We were doing the same loop every week. Scan markets. Watch open interest shift. Compare strikes. Mark levels. Try a setup. Then later, ask the same questions again. What did we see. What did we assume. What did we miss. What would we do differently. The problem was never a lack of data. The problem was that the workflow was fragmented. Notes were in one place. Screenshots were in another. Backtests were a separate world. Reviews were inconsistent. It was too easy to forget the reasoning that mattered.
A modest goal guided everything that came next.
Create a place where trading decisions feel quieter and more deliberate. Put the tools that traders actually use in one place. Make it natural to go from observation to test, and from test to a written takeaway. If a tool does not make the next decision clearer, it does not belong.
The early versions were simple and sometimes clumsy. We built an option chain view that surfaced context instead of noise. We added charts that stayed readable. Then we built the backtesting path. Not to chase perfect predictions, but to shorten the learning loop. When we started saving strategies and revisiting them, the journal became unavoidable. The moment you can record intent, you can review it. The moment you can review it, you can improve.
Along the way we learned a quieter lesson. Good trading tools are not about constant novelty. They are about trust. Trust that the numbers are consistent. Trust that the interface does not distract you. Trust that the same workflow works on a hard day and on an easy day. We aim for that kind of reliability.
What we are building toward
A single place where a trader can study the market, test an idea, execute with discipline, and review outcomes with honesty. Not more information. Better decisions.
We build TradeSim with a simple standard. The product should help you do the work well, not just feel busy. That means we prioritize calm interfaces, consistent data, and workflows that encourage discipline.
If you have feedback, feature requests, or want to share your workflow, we read every message. We are especially interested in what you do before you place a trade, and what you wish you could review after it.
If you are comfortable sharing, tell us one thing. What is the one screen you open the most, and what do you wish it told you more clearly. We use conversations like that to decide what to build next.
