Last Updated: April 5, 2026. This policy explains how TradeSim (the "Platform") collects and processes your personal data in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP), 2023 and other applicable laws.
Under the DPDP Act 2023, TradeSim acts as a Data Fiduciary, determining the purpose and means of processing personal data. As a user of our platform, you are the Data Principal. We are committed to processing your data squarely for the purposes of providing analytical and backtesting services.
We process your personal data only for the following "specified purposes":
By using TradeSim, you provide your informed consent for the processing of data as described here. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent may result in the limitation or termination of your access to certain Platform features.
We retain your personal data only for as long as your account is active or as required by law. You have the Right to Erasure; you can request the deletion of your account and all associated analytical data at any time through the settings panel or by contacting support.
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with service providers (processors) such as hosting providers and payment gateways to the extent necessary to provide the service. All such sharing is governed by strict data processing agreements.
We employ industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including end-to-end encryption for sensitive data at rest and in transit.
In compliance with the DPDP Act, TradeSim will appoint a dedicated Grievance Officer. Until such an appointment is finalized, all grievances or concerns regarding your data privacy and rights as a Data Principal should be directed to our support team.
